This is a challenging course for those who have completed a TACTICAL AVENEUS Basic and Defensive Handgun Prerequisite Courses or had a comparable firearms training course at another recognized school.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Defensive Handgun or equivalent.

• Weapon Retention
• Malfunction Drills
• Man on man drills with reactive targets
• Shooting on the move
• Shooting from close contact weapon retention position
• Team drills with cover fire
• Defensive measures for home and vehicles
• Advanced night time shooting techniques
• Shooting inside, outside and around a vehicle
• Using a vehicle for cover

Equipment needed:

• Cleaned and oiled pistol at least 9mm in caliber.
• Three or more magazines
• Holster and belt or duty rig
• Magazine pouch or holder
• Eye and ear protection
• Sturdy flashlight with spare batteries 500 rounds of factory ammunition
